Perfect Blend

Some homes ask to be quiet. This one asked to be noticed.

Perfect Blend is a full interior design and furnishing project completed by Saiva Homes in the Greater Toronto Area. The brief was simple: warm, grounded, and with real personality — a space where bold design choices and natural materials could coexist without competing.

The Kitchen

Bold, structured, and grounded in craft.

Matte black cabinetry runs floor to ceiling, broken by a distinctive horizontal stripe pattern — a detail that gives the space an almost architectural graphic quality. The marble herringbone backsplash adds texture and lightness, while the walnut island with a white quartz top provides the warmth that balances the drama above. Reclaimed wood ceiling beams cross the full width of the space, and a sculptural rattan pendant hangs low over the island — organic, oversized, and quietly spectacular.

The Living Room

Layered, collected, entirely considered.

A custom built-in shelving unit sits beside the fireplace — raw wood shelves styled with aged pottery, vintage artwork, and personal objects collected over time. The fireplace surround features a bold graphic wallpaper in an organic leaf pattern — painterly and textural against the dark walnut surround. A wicker floor lamp, sheepskin throws, and a vintage Persian rug bring warmth and softness to a room anchored by strong architectural decisions.

"No matter how bold the palette, the materiality always brings it home."

The Dining Room

A room that commits to its position entirely.

A misty forest mural covers the full back wall — atmospheric and almost dreamlike, rendered in cool blue-grey tones. Against it, a natural oak dining table with a fluted base and sculptural boucle chairs feels warm and grounded. The ceiling detail — a deep cove with concealed LED uplighting — adds architectural drama, while custom toile curtains and a contemporary globe pendant bring the space back to something personal and warm.

The Scope

This project included full interior design and concept development, material and finish selections, custom millwork and built-in shelving, furniture sourcing and procurement, wallpaper and mural specification, lighting selection, custom window treatments, art and accessory curation, and complete installation and final styling. Every element was selected, sourced, and installed by the Saiva team.
